Ballerina's shoes, in which she is engaged and dancing, are divided into soft and hard. Each type has its own requirements, nuances of choice and methods of wearing. Sometimes they may vary from school to school.

Soft ballet slippers
The main training shoes of the ballerina are ballet shoes or Czechs, soft slippers, fixed on the leg with elastic bands. Ballet shoes are made of cotton fabric, but have a reinforced back and an insole supporting the arch of the foot. The sole is made of non-slip material. In these shoes daily classes are held in ballet schools. In them, girls do exercises on the bench and in the middle of the hall. Ballet shoes come in different colors, but in classical dances, white is often used. These shoes vary in finish - there are Czechs with a toe reinforced with leather, a single or separate sole.
As a rule, students choose shoes based on their feelings. ballet flats are quite cheap and are a kind of consumable material - with intensive training they wear out and become worthless in just a couple of weeks. An experienced teacher can determine how well a ballerina is doing just by looking at her Czechs. For example, with a strong blockage of the foot, the inside of the shoe is abraded, and the correct setting of the legs involves wearing out only in the toe. Novice ballerinas are sometimes advised to use special soft pointe shoes in training, something between ballet shoes and ordinary pointe shoes.
Select ballet shoes should be strictly on the foot, they should not be free.
