Instruction manual
1
Inspect the place where you are going to attach the banner. It often happens that the method of tensioning banner fabric depends on the capabilities of this place. Think on which parts of the facade, pipes, fences, etc., it will be most convenient to fix outdoor advertising.
2
One common tensioning method is tensioning with eyelets. Eyelets are metal rings that are attached to banner cloth. There are diameters of 24, 32 and 40 mm. For this method, punch holes for the eyelets at a distance of 20-30 cm around the perimeter of the edge of the banner, after bending the edges. At this distance there will be no unnecessary tension and, at the same time, the fabric will not fail. The magnitude of the bent edge depends on the size of the canvas and the diameter of the eyelets. Thus, punching is carried out through two layers of fabric.
3
Punch holes for corner eyelets in the place where the longitudinal and transverse edges of the canvas intersect, that is, through four layers.
4
Insert the eyelets into the holes and pull the cable through them. Tie the cable to the advertising surface. Instead of a cable, it is possible to use construction clamps (plastic or metal), which are threaded into each eyelet and attached separately to the advertising surface. Plastic ones are less durable, but if you need the banner to sag for 2-3 days, then it will be enough.
5
If the mounting location of the banner provides for high mechanical loads on the canvas (for example, strong gusts of wind), then fix the corner mounts additionally. In this case, use the additional fixation of the banner with a metal pipe. To do this, bend the edge of the canvas and seal it so that a pocket forms. Use special glue or double-sided adhesive tape. Insert the pipe into your pocket and fix it on the advertising surface.
