Biography
Ashley Nicole Simpson was born on October 3, 1984 in Waco, Texas, USA. Ashley's father, Joe Simpson, is a former priest (he has now changed his spiritual activities to the status of his daughter’s personal manager), and his mother, Tina Ann (Drew), is a former teacher. The girl's family was very religious, so Ashley, along with her older sister Jessica Simpson, were brought up in severity. Little Ashley attended Prairie Creek Elementary School.
From the age of three, Ashley began to practice ballroom dancing, and at age 11 she was accepted to the School of American Ballet in New York.
