For these purposes, more recently, a great deal of work has been started on digitizing the archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. A unified information and reference system has been created that has made such searches accessible and effective.

Enter the information you have in the active fields - last name, first name, middle name, year of birth and military rank of the person you are interested in, or fill out only those fields that have reliable information.
Press the "search" button or the Enter key on the keyboard to activate the search.

In the window that opens with the search results, find the most relevant information for a particular person (name, date of birth, address). Here you can go to the page with complete, available in the archive, information and available at the time of the request available documents about the cause and date of death, the place of burial.

The process of digitizing the huge archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which is now being actively conducted, is lengthy and time-consuming. Therefore, periodically check the information received on the site, it can be significantly expanded and supplemented with information that has just passed the processing procedure and is made publicly available.
