Few on this planet are happy with the war. Is it that people who benefit from it and who use the war to satisfy their political, and most often economic interests. But what to do if the war is brewing due to some far-fetched reasons, and no one wants to fight. Well, or almost no one.

Instruction manual
1
It is necessary to use pacifist organizations. Demonstrations, protests, “Die-in” actions are far from an incomplete list of actions that pacifists can use in the struggle against imperialism and militarism.
The pacifists attract the attention of authorities and citizens, trying to enlighten others about the uselessness of wars to resolve interstate disputes. The authorities, of course, often ignore them, but if pacifists are able to raise the population against the war, then the aggressor state will simply have no one to fight and it can probably curtail its aggressive intentions.
2
The use of a nuclear shield - reduces the threat of world war. If things went so far that wars between countries could not be avoided, and pacifist organizations work worse than state propaganda, then there is a very reliable way to deter the enemy - a nuclear shield.
Currently, 9 countries officially or presumably own nuclear weapons. Among them are the old nuclear powers that signed the non-proliferation treaty - Russia, the USA, France, Great Britain, China. There are also a number of countries that have not signed this treaty - Israel, India, Pakistan and North Korea.
The war between all these countries is difficult, since an adequate response on the other will follow a possible aggression on the one hand.
3
Use territorial or economic concessions as pacification of the aggressor. Of course, this is the very last thing, when war can not be avoided. If the head of the country sees that his troops are knowingly weaker, he can use this derogatory, for many, step, namely, give the aggressor what could be the cause of the war. As a rule, this may be some territory or access of the aggressor to resources.
Few will take such a step, especially in history there have been precedents for the pacification of the aggressor, which ultimately ended in World War II.
