Fans of theater and cinema in our country have always noted the characters of Igor Bochkin with epithets: courageous, strong, indomitable, not by chance, because today's People’s Artist of the Russian Federation is like that in real life. It was these features of his character that were most recognized in the domestic artistic environment.

People’s Artist of Russia Igor Bochkin today is an example of those famous theater and film actors whose names and characters are simply unthinkable to not know in our country. It is these talents that adorn the stage and the set with their presence alone.
Biography of Igor Bochkin
In the Moscow family, very far from the world of art and culture, on February 17, 1957, the future talented brutal was born. Igor Bochkin very harmoniously transferred his image of a "seasoned peasant" from real life to his theatrical and "cinema" heroes, becoming the personification of creative masculinity, which cannot be put within the framework of controllability.
The life of an ordinary metropolitan teenager literally changed after one day he was in the field of vision of the assistant director of the film project "Lights". The mischievous look of the young Bochkin was very suitable for the format of the main character - Kuzka Zhuravlev. And then almost immediately there was the role of Misha Basharin in the film "Red Sun" (1972). However, such a powerful film debut did not turn the head of our hero, and he entered GITIS only after an urgent service, which he spent in a tank company.
In 1981, Bochkin entered the service of the troupe of the Moscow Theater. Gogol, where for seven years he was marked by many significant roles. I would especially like to note his characters in the performances: "Flying Over the Cuckoo's Nest", "Landing Area Unknown" and "Beach".
And then his theater house became the Theater named after Pushkin, where he was realized not only as a talented actor, but also received recognition as a stage director. In this role, Igor Bochkin made his debut from the production of "Last Summer in Chulimsk" based on the literary work of A. Vampilov. Among his recent directorial works, I would like to mention the projects: “The Most-Most” and “Not the Same as Everyone”.
There is no doubt that cinema nevertheless brought special popularity to the People's Artist. It is worth noting his talented film works in films: "State of emergency of a district scale" (1988), "Goryachev and others" (1992-1994), "Report" (1995), "Barkhanov and his bodyguard" (1996), "Moscow Saga" (2004), "Saboteur. The end of the war" (2007), "The adventures of a notary Neglintsev" (2008), "Report of fate" (2011), "Unloved" (2012), "My sister, Love" (2015), "Love network "(2016), " Fidelity "(2017), The Cycle" (2017) and many others.
