Hidding Hus was born in the provincial town of Varseveld in the Netherlands in November 1946. From childhood, the boy was passionate about football, actively trained and managed to reach certain heights in this sport.
Gus started in the football club of his native city as a midfielder. At the end of the school, he was enrolled in a specialized university of his country - the Central Institute in Overwen, which trained sports mentors. Hidding was the best student, at the end of his education he received a red diploma and took up a career.

After graduation, Gus took up both the career of a football player and the career of a coach. In 1967, he signed a contract with De Grafshal club, played for him as a midfielder and at the same time coached the youth team in a school for children with deviant behavior and developmental delays.
In 1987, Guus Hidding focused on the career of a coach and agreed to lead the PSV Netherlands football club. In his career, he had both successful and failed experience of working with teams from many countries of the world. He has worked with clubs such as
