Biography
The future footballer was born in the small Spanish city of Guadalajara in June 1988 on the first day in a very famous and popular football dynasty - men of several generations took to the field. A boy from an early age began to get involved in this sport, he loved to chase the ball, and his parents decided to record in the football section.
At the age of nine, he turned up for viewing at one of the prestigious Mexican clubs Guadalajara. Javier was able to impress the leadership of the club with his talents and was accepted into the academy. Before signing his first professional contract, the young football player trained and regularly played for the youth team for seven years.
Career
In 2005, Hernandez signed a contract with Guadalajara, but the debut for the adult team took place only in the next, 2006, in the regular season match of Mexico, he replaced at the end of the match and scored a goal, which became the only season. A total of nine times he appeared in matches of this season, at the end of which the club became the champion of Mexico, and the athlete received his famous nickname - “Chicharito”, which means “little peas” in Mexican. The fact is that Javier’s father was called "Chichar" for the bright green color of his eyes, but his son became a pea.
The next season, Chicharito also spent in rotation, and for the whole year he only went to the field 11 times. Since 2008, he managed to gain a foothold in the main team and regularly went on the field for two years. In total for “Guadalajara” Javier played 81 matches and hit opponents' goal 29 times.
Regular appearance on the field and good performance attracted the attention of breeders of the English grand Manchester United, and in the spring of 2010 a promising footballer moved to foggy Albion. Under Sir Alex, the club has always had high competition, which Hernandez had to deal with. At first, he could not stand the high speeds and heavy loads of the English Premier League, but the eminent coach quickly found application for the Mexican. "Peas" has become a real "joker" in the sleeve of an experienced old man. Hernandez rarely appeared on the field from the first minutes, but he was always ready to go out at a difficult moment and decide the outcome of the meeting in favor of the “Red Devils”.
On May 8, 2013, a historic event took place both for Manchester United and for all football: the legendary Red Devils mentor Alex Ferguson decided to end his coaching career. Instead, he recommended his compatriot, David Moyes. With the advent of a new coach, “Peas” began to appear more often in the starting lineup, but it did not bring any special results, on the contrary, when Moyes Chicharito scored only nine goals, less than in any other season in “Manchester United”.
Inexperienced Scot David throughout the season tried to tame the “red devils", but he did not succeed. Attempts to radically change the team’s playing style had a rather negative effect on the results and at the end of the season he left Manchester United. In his place came the Dutch specialist - Louis Van Gal, who actually put an end to the promising career of Javier Hernandez.
In the same 2014, the Dutchman sent Chicharito on loan to Real Madrid. Hernandez again had to face high competition in the established team. The Mexican unexpectedly easily coped with a new challenge and throughout the season regularly appeared on the field and scored nine goals for the “Royal Club”.
Despite the good success in the creamy camp, the fact of the lease very upset Hernandez. Having a bit of playing time under Ferguson, he waited for every opportunity to prove himself. Upon returning from the lease, Chicharito remained faithful to the “red devils” and was looking forward to a chance to enter the field. But Louis Van Gal never found use for the Mexican footballer. As a result, at the end of the 15/16 season, he left Manchester United, appearing in the matches of this season only three times.

As part of Manchester United, Javier twice became the champion of England, and also won the English Super Cup in 2010. In the final meeting against Chelsea, scored a goal in 75 minutes.
Chicharito began the next year in Germany, in the colors of FC Bayer. The first season was quite successful, for forty matches he scored 26 goals against the opponent. The 16/17 season has become less productive: 13 goals in 29 games.
In 2017, the English club West Hem United, strengthening the roster before the new season, was able to agree on the Mexican transfer to the club. Today, Hernandez continues to play for the London club.
With the opening of transfer windows, rumors always begin to creep, and Hernandez did not escape this fate. Since the beginning of January 2019, the media has been actively disseminating information about the imminent transition of the Mexican to the Spanish football club Valencia.
National team of mexico
Javier Hernandez received an invitation to the national team in 2009. Starting next season, he became a regular player and team leader. His 14th number was practically the mascot of the team. Today, Chicharito is considered one of the best players in Mexico. In total, the national colors of the Mexican national team, "Peas" spent more than a hundred matches, in which he scored fifty goals. In 2011, he won the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
As part of the 2018 World Cup, which took place in Russia, the athlete scored the winning goal against the South Korean national team, set a record and became the top scorer in the history of the Mexican national team.
