Fedor was born on May 9, 1967 in the family of actress Irina Skobtseva and a cult actor, director of the Soviet period Sergey Bondarchuk. Due to the constant employment of parents, Fedor and his sister Alena had to spend most of the time with their grandmother - Julia Nikolaevna. Fedor studied in a special school in the capital, attended art school, showed excellent results in drawing. But hooliganism manifested itself most clearly in his character. Grandmother was indulgent to all the grandchild's mischief - fights, smoking and alcohol, seeing in him a creative nature.
Already at the age of 15, the boy starred in a movie, in a film directed by his father - the historical drama "Boris Godunov. And even during the period of military service, Fedor Bondarchuk was close to art, more precisely to cinema - due to the fact that he was at that moment student of VGIK, got into the cavalry regiment, who took part in the filming of battle scenes in the film "War and Peace."

Seriously, Sergei Bondarchuk took up raising his son at the end of school. Contrary to Fedor’s desire to enter MGIMO, Sergey Fedorovich took him to VGIK. But the young man entered there not because of the patronage of his father, but because of his abilities. At the VGIKovsk workshop of Igor Talankin, Fedor Bondarchuk studied with Litvinova Renata, Ivan Okhlobystin, Alexander Bashirov. This period of career development, according to Fedor, was the most difficult - it was necessary not only to learn the basics of the profession, but also to prove his worth, to refute the opinions of others that he was not only the son of the country's leading director, but also an independent creative unit.
Fedor failed to get a diploma immediately after graduation, since he did not pass exams in the most important discipline at that time - the history of the CPSU. But after 18 years, the diploma still ended up in his hands, moreover, "red."

Immediately after the institute, Fedor took up independent creative activity - he opened a studio for shooting video clips, organized festivals and exhibitions. The first "clients" of the studio were
