Facts from the biography
The girl was born in Spain in the summer of 1960. About who her parents were, nothing is known.
Lola attended a regular school in Apicante. She showed an interest in creativity from early childhood: like many girls, she dreamed that she would become a famous actress.
In high school, Forner was first invited to shoot on television, where she starred in a children's entertainment show.
An attractive young girl was noticed by representatives of the modeling business and invited her to start working as a fashion model. Immediately after leaving school, Lola signed a contract with a modeling agency, starred in several commercials, and also began to appear on the covers of fashion magazines.
Creative career
In the late 1970s, Lola decided to take part in a beauty contest. There were a lot of applicants. But Forner, already having extensive experience working as a model, immediately passed the selection and was among the participants in the project. As a result, Lola was able to get around all her rivals and get the title of “Miss Spain”. After that, the girl was sent to represent the country at the Miss World contest, which was held in the UK.
The large-scale event was attended by seventy beautiful girls who came from different countries. Forner became one of the contenders for the title of "Miss World", reaching the semi-finals of the competition. As a result, she was surpassed by Gina Swayson, who received the crown, and Carolyn Sivord, who became vice-miss of the world. Lola took only third place at the competition, but this was a great achievement in the career of a young Spanish woman.
Although the work in the modeling business for Forner was very successful, she decided not to stop there and try herself as an actress.
Forner received her first roles in television projects that did not bring her fame. But then she got a lot of experience on the set and decided to continue acting in films.
She played her first small role in the feature film in the film Project A, where she appeared on the set with the famous Jackie Chan.
In the movie "Diner on Wheels" Lola played the negative heroine Sylvia. Jackie Chan starred again. According to the plot of the picture, two friends from China organized a mobile diner in the Spanish city of Barcelona. Once all their proceeds are stolen by a certain Senorita Silvia. From this moment, the incredible adventures of the main characters of the film begin.
With Jackie Chan, Lola also played in another film, “Armor of God.” Here she already got one of the main roles. She played a girl named May, the daughter of a collector, who, together with the main character, goes in search of parts of the ancient armor of God.
