James Howard Woods is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He has accounted for more than one hundred and twenty roles in films and series. Winner of Emmy, Golden Globe and Young Hollywood awards and an Oscar nominee. In 1998, the Honored Star of James Woods appeared on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

James's biography began in 1972, when he first appeared on the screens in several paintings. But the actor achieved the greatest popularity when he starred in the films: Once Upon a Time in America, Police Officer, Specialist, Chaplin.

Childhood
James was born in the spring of 1947 in the United States. The boy’s father was a military man, and his mother taught at a local educational institution. James also has a younger brother.
The boy was brought up in severity, and in his childhood he was a very notorious child, suffering from various phobias and fears. He had almost no friends, the reason for this was fuzzy speech, which interfered with normal communication and even more affected the formation of the character of James. But paternal rigor helped the child to study well at school and to be one of the most successful and disciplined students.
When James was thirteen years old, his father died unexpectedly after undergoing surgery and the complications caused by her. Mom soon married again, and the stepfather took up the boy's upbringing.
Student years
Back in school, the boy wanted to become a doctor, but later on his plans changed. Having brilliantly graduated from high school, James continued his education at the University of Massachusetts, choosing the profession of a political scientist, and had not even thought about any acting career.
