Dmitry Isakov is a man of short, but very interesting fate. In Russia, many are known as a passionate lover of rock music, the creator of the synthesizer. Readers remembered him as a talented science fiction writer.
The creator of the synthesizer "Alice"
Dmitry Mikhailovich Bodun - the name of the writer, which was given to him at birth. Born in 1958 on March 1. In many open sources, the biography of Dmitry Isakov begins with a story about his work at the musical instrument factory, which was located in Lyubertsy.
Dmitry worked as an engineer at this plant.
Designed musical equipment. In Soviet times, it was a rare and worthy occupation. According to contemporaries, Dmitry was a fan of his craft. Confirmation of this may be his collection of synthesizers.
Isakov was the first to construct a synthesizer in the Soviet Union, calling it "Alice." This tool has been widely used in the country for 7 years (1984-1991). The apparatus "Alice" was highly appreciated by the musicians of that time. He entered the history of musical technology as one of the best made in Russia. In the archives of music, many records have been preserved on which this instrument sounds. Dmitry Bodun himself was an excellent keyboard player, a great lover of rock music.
Writer career
The country recognized Isakov as a writer in the early nineties. But before, while living in Moscow, he worked at the Interface publishing house, where he was the main compiler of a series of children's books called The Solar Library. The first works of Isakov were different from what they wrote earlier in the Soviet Union. His collection "Shark-Ate" is a mix of American fiction, Hollywood action movie and idealism of Soviet fiction. The country changed, interests, attitude to literature changed. Isakov's work was appreciated by a reader who loved science fiction. A book with unusual prose, humor and narrative dynamics was in demand among the reader.
Boycott
But, unfortunately, the author’s first success remained the only one. Writing a sequel - “Shark-eaten -2”, Isakov introduced into his novel heroes who repeated the characters of John Tolkien’s already well-known and very readable book “The Lord of the Rings”. Amid the fame of the book and its famous author, Isakov’s novel looked like a mockery of the work. A boycott was announced to him, and his works refused to print. But, despite this setback, Dmitry continues to write no less interesting stories, micro-stories, anthologies, and novels (“Good uncles! Help!”, “How to breed suckers!”, “About people who love dogs”, “About elephants Bondarchuk! ", " The magic power of art ", " Fairy tales "and many others). His work is in demand. The works are read and reprinted to this day. They are interesting, they have a lot of humor and kindness.
