The peak of the popularity of the musical work of Dmitry Chizhov came in the late 80s and 90s. However, today his songs can be heard on the air of modern radio stations. Fans of Chizhov’s incendiary hits are watching his personal life with interest, especially since the singer not only recently married, but also got married to a young darling.

Dmitry Chizhov - a bright representative of the era of musicians - "multi-station"
To understand where the inexhaustible love of the people for the tunes of those years comes from, it is enough to visit firsthand the annual festival “Disco of the 80s”. Or at least watch this music parade on television. Moreover, these unpretentious dance melodies evoke positive emotions not only among representatives of that time, but also among modern youth.
Disco of the 80s is not only a variety of musical genres (disco, rock, urban romance, bardic performance), but also new instruments, experiments with sound and manner of performance. Simple good stories, clear texts and, perhaps, the most important thing - groovy, rhythmic music.
At the end of the 80s, many musical groups appeared, whose representatives could both professionally perform any genre and independently write texts and music for them. This is the era of "multi-worker". Dmitry Chizhov was born on April 16, 1963, which means that in 1988 he turned 25 years old.
1988 - the year of the appearance of the group "College", created by Dmitry Chizhov. Here he is a soloist, guitarist, author of texts and music. However, it is difficult to call the "College" an independent group, since it was a kind of continuation - a satellite of the megapopular Mirage group. By the end of the 80s, composer Andrei Lityagin headed the Mirage studio of the same name.
The goal was not only the promotion of the already famous musical group, but also the "promotion" of new ones. Lityagin directed the professional recording of songs for these groups, the organization of tours. Therefore, it is not surprising that the participants of the Mirage were included in other groups of this joint project. So in the "College" played the guitarist from the "Mirage" Igor Ponomarev.
Ponomarev concurrently played the role of sound engineer, Chizhov also did an excellent job of arranging both his own and already well-known domestic songs. From under his "pen" just an avalanche of hits came out one after another. Colleagues said that Dmitry writes songs "like baking pies."
The "college" lasted until 1997, until the moment when Chizhov ripened for another image and his new group called "Gone with the Wind." The previous group recorded 6 albums and the songs included in them did not lose their popularity. They subsequently re-chanted by a new group of Dmitry Chizhov or other performers.
At the peak of popularity
By the time the musical group Gone With the Wind was formed, Dmitry Chizhov had acquired a soul mate. She became Tatyana Morozova, with whom a new brainchild was created. Perhaps they agreed on the basis of a joint project, because later they continued to work together for a long time, but it was not possible to maintain family relations for a long time.
Compared to College, the new group very quickly reached the peak of success in just a couple of years. After a year of fruitful work of the team, the first album called "Poltergeist" was released. It was he who gave impetus to the further popularization of the collective. Although still in the year the group appeared, the team received the prestigious Golden Gramophone Award for the song "Poltergeist".
Already in 1999, no musical "hit parade" could not do without the participation of the group "Gone with the Wind". Soon they enter the scene of "Song of the Year." Alla Pugacheva invites them to their traditional Christmas meetings and Dmitry Chizhov is engaged in parallel arranging some songs for the diva. The best remix recognized "Madame Broshkina."
Outside the activities of his group, Chizhov works with individual singers. This is Marina Khlebnikova (“A Cup of Coffee”, “Paradise in a Hut”, “Take-off Strip”, “Brandy Glass”, “Cocoa-Cocoa” and many others) Natalie (“Clouds”). There are performances of Philip Kirkorov with Tatyana Morozova (songs "Mouse", "Pupsik").

The mature years of the musician: creativity continues
In 2013, musician, poet, composer, producer Dmitry Chizhov celebrated his 50th anniversary. The celebration was held at the Korston hotel, where you could see all the stars of the post-Soviet pop music of the 90s: Kai Metov, Viktor Saltykov, Andrei Aleksin, Marina Khlebnikova, Vladimir Levkin, Sergey Penkin, Sergey Chumakov, members of the groups "Ladybug", "Gone with the Wind" and etc.
The hero of the day performed several of his songs himself and we must pay tribute to him that everything was live. At the end of the holiday, Beatles songs were unexpectedly performed by Dmitry Chizhov, Victor Saltykov, Vladimir Volenko and Andrey Aleksin. Moreover, it was a new improvised version, and none of the singers knew how it would be accepted by those present.
However, everything went with a bang. In fact, the round date of Dmitry Chizhov showed that he is in an active creative form. Several new songs have been written, more calm and lyrical. Today, the musician works for his solo career, tours a lot around the country. By the standards of his former popularity, he lives quite modestly and does not really spread about his personal life.
