Childhood
Danila Alekseevich Poperechny was born in the spring of 1994 in the Russian city of Voronezh. When he was still in his infancy, his father left the family, so Danila was raised by her mother. As a teenager, the boy left Russia with his relatives and moved to the capital of Ukraine - Kiev.
From early childhood, Transverse showed a penchant for creative pursuits. His mother, noticing this, decided to send her son to an art school, which, perhaps, influenced all his further activities. At the age of 14, he began to master animation - the art of creating moving objects on the screen. Around the same time, he registered on the YouTube video hosting site under the pseudonym Spoontamer, where he began to post his first works.
In parallel with the formation of Danil always tried to find ways to work part-time. So, in high school, he worked at the Ukrainian game development company "GSC Game World", where he was testing games for software errors. After graduating from school, Transverse entered Poland to study computer engineering. After a couple of years, he dropped out of school, not seeing any prospects in this area of activity.
YouTube career
In 2011, an experienced animator was offered a job in the YouTube project "Thank you, Eve!" His responsibilities included creating short animated videos with the participation of government officials, in particular Putin and Medvedev. It did not matter if they were presented in good or bad light. After some time, it turned out that the project was propaganda and was sponsored by the Kremlin. Cross and other video bloggers (for example, Ruslan Usachev) were at the center of a powerful political scandal. After making a few more videos, the blogger left the project. Later, he began to work with the Come on Lyme video blogging school, but quickly left it.
In 2013, Danila Poperechny began his first performances as a comedian, although, as he admits, this area of activity has attracted him for several years. The main source of inspiration for Danila was the performances of the American stand-up comedian Louis X Kay. Just a year after the first hits on the stage, he went on a tour of Russian cities, not forgetting to record funny videos and podcasts on YouTube. In early 2015, Pereperechny posted on his channel the first record of a stand-up performance called "Without a Mat." At the moment, the video has gained more than 4 million views.
Since this year, the popularity of Danila Poperechny has constantly increased. He was increasingly called for participation in the videos of well-known bloggers - Stas Davydov ("This is Good"), Ruslan Usachev ("It's Time to Blame"), Eldar Dzharakhov, Ilya Prusikin and Yura Muzychenko ("It seems I groped!", "Give me the bream ", " Hash stories "). In the winter of 2018, he became a member of the show "vDud".

Problems with the authorities
In the summer of 2016, Danila Poperechny uploaded the clip “POP CULTURE” to his channel, which became the center of scandals and showdowns with representatives of the authorities and the church. In a music video, a blogger makes fun of the image of individual representatives of the institute of religion, who have forgotten about their duties and mired in viciousness. Deputy Vitaly Milonov sued Pereperechny under Article 148 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (insulting the religious feelings of believers). The main argument was the use of a sacred place in the clip - the premises of the church, but since only scenery was involved in the clip, this argument was not valid. The clip was also criticized by representatives of the church. So, threats to the Cross came from the Orthodox activist Demetrius Enteo.
This case received widespread resonance and added popularity to the blogger, but he did not incur criminal punishment. Danila, however, admitted that he had spent impressive amounts on good lawyers. The break from scandals was short-lived, and already in the spring of 2018, Transverse was at the center of a new conflict with government officials, but already in Ukraine. As part of the "Unflattering" comedian, he was supposed to visit 3 cities in this country, but the Ukrainian security service forbade Cross-country to enter the country in the next 3 years. He failed to restore access. According to Danila, he filed a lawsuit against Ukraine, and the case is still open.
