The world is diverse and is not limited only to its physical manifestation. A proof of this can be the fact that in absolutely all cultures and religions such a thing as a spirit, a metaphysical being exists. There are brownies in Russian culture, poltergeists and ghosts in western culture, and moshi in Japanese culture.

Keepers
Mushas are guardian spirits in Japanese culture that are directly related to nature and directly related to it. They are found as characters in ancient Japanese traditions.
If you believe the legends, then the mushas are not living beings, but they are not the spirits of the dead - their origin and existence is a mystery.
People may not always notice them, but it is still possible. Relations with people at the custodians are not always unambiguous, spirits are often volatile and unpredictable.
A person who is able to see flies is called a master of flies; such people can not only see, but also interact with these spirits. They literally attract flies and have to travel a lot because of this. It is they who bear the responsibility for maintaining a balance between the worlds of people and mushi, if there is a violation between them, the mushi master must eliminate all the negative consequences and restore the fragile balance.
All Mushi masters keep records and collect useful information about these spirits, which include a description of their species, information about how they interact with people and what diseases they can cause, as well as how to cure these diseases.
