How did the guys dress
The guys were called dudes. This abbreviation stands for Man Respecting High American Culture.
Initially, the dude of the 50s. looked pretty funny. He wore incredibly wide bright trousers, baggy jackets, ridiculously socks and jungle fire ties.
However, soon changes took place in the appearance of the stilag, creating the image that is now considered to be classic. Pants-pipes appeared, in the midst of stilag called truckers. They could still be bright, but more often they were dark in color. They came with a shirt of "Hawaiian" colors and a jacket in a bright large cage - jackets. Pants had to end above the ankles to demonstrate the unimaginable colors of socks - Sox. Ties were still bright, but became narrow and tied on a miniature knot. A little later, a cowboy neckerchief, a taek, made up a worthy competition for a tie.
Stilag shoes deserve special mention. Shoes (shoes) on high rubber soles called "semolina" were considered very fashionable.
A special chic and a sign of security was considered a felt trench coat - coat.
The image was completed by a hairstyle - a cocoon carefully put into sugar syrup. The guy could appear at the party with the usual hairstyle, but then he always put on a hat - hat.
