Lent is the most important and ancient of all posts. After all, it is he who reminds everyone of those forty days spent by the Savior in the desert. However, it is worth noting that during normal (milder fasting) fish and fish products are not forbidden to eat. Soy products have gained popularity: meat, mayonnaise, sausage. However, do not give preference only to them. After all, fasting is not a diet, but just a small restriction of nutrition. Therefore, try to make the most diverse menu and eat for your own pleasure. Since the post should not bother you and cause negative emotions, but rather should support you and be a pleasure for you. For those who decide to keep the post for the first time, the first week will seem the most difficult, but then it becomes easier over time. You can diversify your diet with various fruits and vegetables. Elderly, sick and pregnant women during fasting can be given a little relaxation or not fasting at all, as fasting can adversely affect their health.
