The problems of educating the younger generation at all times worried caring people. Each of them has its own ideas and suggestions. The American writer Stephen Chbosky is no exception.

Children's complexes
According to some psychologists, creative natures are very often guided by childhood impressions soaked in mother’s milk. Stephen Chboschi was born on January 25, 1970 in a Catholic family. Parents lived in the famous city of Pittsburgh. Father advised players in financial markets. Mother worked as a tax inspector. The house was dominated by strict, even oppressive orders. Husband and wife followed biblical rules. The child grew up withdrawn and gloomy. Only the aunt who lived with them always felt sorry and supported the boy.
Stephen learned to read early and spent all his free time with a book. There were few books at home, and he regularly visited the school library. The future writer later admitted that he did not choose books, but read those that came to hand. Fiction, classic, thrillers "swallowed" in one sitting. As often happens, from some point Chboski felt the need to write a story or poem himself. A school teacher of literature neatly motivated him to work.
In the field of writing
The teenager was embarrassed to show his literary tests. But in communication at the lessons of literature I ventured to read several fragments. The reaction of peers and the teacher was friendly. In 1988, Stephen graduated from high school. After natural hesitation, I decided to get a specialized education at the Department of Film Drama at the University of California. In the learning process, he was engaged in literary work. Scripts for short films came out from under his pen.
In 1992, Chboski received a diploma and began to collaborate with Hollywood movie studios. For the script of the film "Four Corners" he received several prestigious awards. For several years, he systematically worked on his first novel. In 1999, the book "It’s good to be quiet" appeared on sale. The plot of the novel is "implicated" in childhood memories and impressions of the author. Within a short time, the entire circulation was sold out. The following year, the novel was listed as a bestseller.
