Biography
The future forward was born on November 20, 1979 in Moscow. Dmitry is a hereditary athlete. Father and mother of the striker are former professional volleyball players, father is a member of the USSR national team. By the way, Dmitry’s sister, Irina, was engaged in tennis, but after an injury she began her coaching career.
As a child, Dmitry was involved in many sports, but focused on football. At the age of 7, he entered the football school of Moscow Lokomotiv. After 4 seasons he moved to the children's team "Labor Reserves". The last youth team for the striker was the team "CSKA".
Career
From 16 to 18 years old Dmitry played in the double of the Moscow “Locomotive”. For the main composition of the “Locomotive” forward made his debut in 1997, in the Russian Cup match. In total, Bulykin played 7 seasons for Moscow railway workers. As part of the “Locomotive” became the two-time winner of the Russian Cup.
In 2001, Dmitry moved to Dynamo Moscow, where he spent 6 seasons and was called up to the Russian national team. Stay at Dynamo was marked by a conflict between the striker and the club management. The leaders did not want to let Dmitry play in Europe. In 2007, the attacker still went to Europe after moving to Bayer Leverkusen. Then Dmitry spent the season in Belgium, but because of the scandal with the head coach he was leased to “Fortuna” from Dusseldorf. In Germany, he was seriously injured, could not prove himself at full strength and again returned to Anderlecht. In August 2010 he was again leased, but now to the Dutch championship, to the ADO Den Haag team.
In Holland, the striker played 30 games and scored 21 goals. Scouts of the Ajax Amsterdam were also noticed there. Bulykin signed a one-season contract with the Amsterdam team. As part of Ajax, he became the champion of Holland. At the end of the season, Ajax did not want to renew the contract with the striker.
In the summer of 2012, Bulykin signed a two-year contract with another Dutch club, Twente, in which the striker spent 2 seasons and returned to the Russian championship to finish his busy career. Dmitry Bulykin held his last professional match on March 10, 2014.
In the national team Dmitry spent 15 games and was marked by seven goals scored. In the camp of the national team he took part in the European Football Championship in 2004.
