Sports career
Batu Khasikov’s sports biography began when he was only 11 years old. He decided to study karate. He continued to comprehend the basics of martial art even when he moved to the capital in 1997. Since 2000, for several months he won various competitions. Throughout his sporting life, Batu visited a variety of fighting sections. But in the end I chose kickboxing. Batu began to study this martial art, starting in 2005.
For 5 years, he won the Russian championship 3 times, won the European Championship. Batu received top middleweight titles in 3 of 5 well-known kickboxing organizations. In 2007, he entered the ring against Harris Norwood. As a result of the battle, he managed to defeat the American and received the ISKA title. In 2009, he was already opposing the Portuguese Ricardo Fernandes. For this fight, he was awarded the WAKO-Pro title. A year later, he met in the ring with Fabio Corelli. As a result of the match, Batu not only defeated the famous Italian, but also won the WKA title.
The year 2011 was marked by battles with such titled rivals as Albert Kraus and Mike Zambidis. The opposition to Batu eminent fighters took place in the section K-1.
