early years
Aslan was born in 1937 in the Georgian capital. A nineteen-year-old youth, a recent graduate of the school received his first term for insubordination to the police. After a year and a half, the convict was free.
At the beginning of 1959, Usoyan was convicted of robbery, but a five-year term ended with parole. Once free, the criminal engaged in currency transactions, thefts from the pockets of Soviet citizens and very soon received the title of thief in law. It is still unknown what helped this: the proximity to the criminal authority of Ilo Devdariani or the large amount that Aslan paid.
Crowned thief
A new verdict arrived in late 1966 for speculation. And again, early release allowed Aslan to return home for two years. His main occupations were shadow operations, fraud and counterfeiting of gold coins. He paid tribute to the guild guards, thimbles and made important acquaintances among Georgian officials and police.
In 1984, Aslan received the longest term in his biography. The court accused him of forging documents and storing drugs. Usoyan ended up in the notorious Perm Prison White Swan. Then stages to Omsk, Sverdlovsk and Nizhny Tagil followed. The secret agreement that the convict signed with the administration of the colony gave the right to maintain order and become an influential authority nicknamed "Grandfather Hassan." He crowned his nephew Temur, nicknamed Timur, and gave him authority. When youth groups of athletes appeared in the 90s, the newly-made "thief" put together his team and became a watcher in Sverdlovsk. Over time, the Hassan clan controlled the entire territory of the Urals. The methods of his work were tough. He strictly punished the unwanted or handed over to law enforcement authorities.
Dashing 90s
In 1991, Hassan was released, a bribe and the influence of patrons helped. The picnic about the release was actually a meeting of criminal authorities on the division of spheres of influence. The North Caucasus became Ustoyan's "estate", then his interests stretched to Kislovodsk, Sochi, and Ukraine. He provided assistance to Abkhazia during the armed conflict with Georgia, and supplied weapons to the militants of Kurdistan. Hassan strengthened his own influence when a bloody massacre erupted between the Ural factions.
In the mid-90s, Usoyan settled in St. Petersburg. In criminal matters, he acted as an arbiter and peacemaker, he was called to all important meetings of the "authorities". After the death of the legendary Jap, Usoev held the thieves' box office and gained even more influence. Very soon, Aslan's interests reached Western Europe, the Baltic states and Israel.
Against the Oganov Clan
The second half of the 90s was marked by a real won of the Hassan clans and the Oganov brothers. Rudolph and Vachikos accused Aslan of embezzlement, lost his title in absentia and received the support of influential thieves. The confrontation erupted due to influence in Krasnodar and several murders. First, a close friend of the Oganovs died in Moscow, then shots rang out in the Northern capital, an employee of the City Legislative Assembly, close to Hassan, was killed. Aslan was arrested during the trial; he was released after a large pledge. This was followed by several retaliatory strikes by the brothers and clan of Grandfather Hassan. The killer’s bullet found Rudolph and Vachikos, and in total, on both sides, the clan war claimed one and a half hundred lives.
Clan Oniani War
In the first half of the 2000s, Usoyan tried to strengthen his presence in the vast expanses of the former Union. He crowned criminal leaders in Moscow, Moldova, and Kyrgyzstan. Then a new conflict flared up Usoeva, this time with the "thief in law" Tariel Oniani or Taro. Hassan helped repay debts, receive loans, patronized markets, companies and gambling. During this period, several of his friends and associates were killed, the main of which was Vyacheslav Ivankov. Usoyan convinced criminal circles of the involvement of representatives of the Oniani clan in these facts.
