Childhood
The future actress learned to read early. However, she did not think that she would someday become a writer. Annie Dupree was born on June 28, 1947 in a bohemian family. Parents lived in the famous city of Rouen, which is located in the north of France. My father worked as a photographer. Mother was engaged in housekeeping and raising a child. The girl has bright memories of the early years of her childhood. When she was barely eight years old, mother and father tragically died in their own apartment, having been poisoned by carbon monoxide.
Annie did not stay on the street; she was taken up by her grandmother and aunt. They did not live in poverty, but every centime was registered. At school, the girl studied well. She was engaged in the choreographic section. At thirteen, Dupree began working as a model at a local agency. I didn’t earn much money, but I received invaluable experience in communicating with the employer. In 1960 she performed a cameo role in the film "Lola".
Affirmation in the profession
After graduating from school, the seventeen-year-old Annie Dupre went to Paris to receive an acting education and pursue a career. Here she enrolled in acting classes of the cult director Rene Simon. In her free time, she collaborated with a modeling agency and the capital's fashion magazine. One of the issues of the international women's fashion magazine "Vogue" came out with a photo of Annie on the cover. Plastic and "figured" model attracted the attention of assistants from various film companies.
In 1966, Dupree invited the cult film director Jean-Luc Godard to collaborate. A young and fresh model attracted him not only as an actress, but also as a woman. Anne met all the hopes and intentions of the director. She brilliantly starred in the film "Two or Three Things I Know About Her." After a successful debut, offers from large and small film companies began to arrive regularly. Later, meticulous journalists calculated that the actress had almost eighty films and TV shows.
