And in the life of ordinary people, and in art, all processes taking place in society are constantly reflected. For example, the Soviet actor Andris Yurovich Lielais previously starred in Soviet cinema, studied at a Moscow university, and now he is an ideological opponent of the USSR.

On the one hand, it’s good that the actors are also not indifferent to politics. On the other hand, to see only the bad in the relations that were between the Soviet republics is also incorrect. This is so implicit, but society and art are firmly intertwined.
Biography
The future actor and public figure Andris Jurovich Lielais was born in Riga in 1957. His family lived right next to the Daugava River, and children from neighboring houses bathed in this river and played on the shore. Andris's childhood was interesting, joyful. And when he became a teenager, an event took place in his life that determined his whole future fate: he starred in the film "Republic of Raven Street" (1960). The plot of the film tells about the revolution of 1905 and the struggle of revolutionaries with power. Andris played the role of Lurich - a boy who is completely on the side of the revolutionaries. Teenagers have their own struggle, and they created two opposing groups: one supports fighters for justice, the second - the rich. The guys from Raven Street are shown as the brave and resourceful assistants of older comrades, and Lurich is the most daring and resourceful of them. Lielais was good at this role, and he decided that his calling was to become an actor.
Therefore, after receiving secondary education, Andris went to Moscow to enter VGIK, and passed the first time. Here he was very lucky with the head of the course: he was Evgeny Matveev, a famous artist who played many roles in cult films. Therefore, the study was very interesting and eventful.
Movie career
In 1982, the main role came to Andris - he created the image of Valery Pospekhin in the film “Since We Together”, which was directed by Vladimir Grigoryev. The film showed the problems of early marriage: situations faced by young people who got married in their student years. The hero of Lielais and his wife Nadia can not find common solutions, although there is great love between them. Young actors managed to show well the discrepancy between the expectation of seed life and its realities, which was very useful for those who were going to marry.
Lielais began his career in cinema shortly before perestroika, which radically changed the life of Soviet people. After the collapse of the USSR, the actor began to collaborate with Western television channels - he made stories about the Soviet Union. They were watched mainly abroad, therefore Andris did not have much fame in the countries of the former USSR and in Latvia.
Everything changed in 1992, when he starred in the film "Education of Cruelty in Women and Dogs" in partnership with the famous Elena Yakovleva. After that, he began a period of active filming in series and feature films.
The best series in his portfolio are: Game, Anna Detective, Death of an Empire, Demons.
