Mom worked as a kindergarten teacher. Natalya Semenovna was an excellent hostess who managed to maintain the whole house. The girl’s dad painted beautifully, worked as a restorer of antique watches. Yuri Vladimirovich collected old receivers and cameras.
The main impetus for the development of creativity for the granddaughter was the grandmother. Nadezhda Emelyanovna spent a lot of time with Alena. She sang her folk songs, funny ditties. Granddaughter with pleasure repeated the motives behind her. The song element so fascinated Petrovsky that she decided to become a singer.
The first musical instrument on which the girl learned to play was the button accordion. Alena was sent to school with a musical choral bias. Teachers noticed the student's interest in music and her talent. They supported Alena’s desire to develop, helped her in everything.
The girl spent a lot of time doing vocals. She got an excellent teacher. He managed to inspire the student with confidence in her strength and strengthen her desire to become a soloist. I.G. Lutsuk taught Alyona to sing with soul, in music, to feel flight and freedom. Musical addictions formed in early childhood, as there were always a lot of records in the house.
A significant contribution to the choice of direction was made by the songs of Ruslanova, Mordasova, German. The girl loved to hum them. Sixteen-year-old Alena was fascinated by Lyudmila Zykina's performing style. The girl wanted to learn how to sing, like her idol. To fulfill a dream, a special education was needed.

She sang in a church choir, performed in prestigious halls of the city, traveled abroad.
On the first November day of 1999, Zykina arrived at the Golden Hit festival held in the city. A classmate led Alena to her for an audition. Lyudmila Georgievna recommended the girl to pursue a solo career. This decided the further actions of Petrovskaya.
