Many citizens are mistaken in claiming that politics is a dirty business. Not true. This type of activity is no worse than art or business. The biography of Alexander Sidyakin serves as a clear confirmation of this.

Starting conditions
Children's dreams and projects rarely get continued in the next stages of life. Alexander Gennadievich Sidyakin was born on November 17, 1977 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in the small town of Segezha. My father worked as a crane operator at the Pulp and Paper Mill, and my mother worked as a nurse in a city clinic. The boy grew up and developed among his peers. He dreamed of becoming an astronaut or taxi driver. He studied well at school. Engaged in the athletics section. He took part in tourist gatherings.
A certificate of maturity and a silver medal Alexander received in the mid-90s. By that time, my father was among the unemployed. The city-forming enterprise for the production of paper and cardboard was among the bankrupt. With great difficulty, parents raised money for a costume for their son by prom. As they say, they scraped together a sufficient amount for a trip to the place of further education. Sidyakin weighed all the real options and made an informed decision about where he would prefer to get a higher education. The future politician went to Tver and entered the jurisprudence department of the local university.
In his student years, Alexander led a balanced and rational lifestyle. I didn’t miss lectures. At the seminars I tried to study the given topic more deeply. Since it is impossible to live on a scholarship alone, Sidyakin made an acquaintance at one of the railway dead ends. At night and on weekends, he unloaded wagons with brick, coal, and grain. I didn’t earn much money, but I had enough for food. It is important to note that the future lawyer took an active part in socio-political processes. As a third-year student, Sidyakin led the Tver branch of the National Bolshevik Party.
Professional activity
Having received a diploma in 1999, the young specialist set his sights on a political career. And he chose a long, but the right path to achieve his goal. For two years Sidyakin worked intensively in a law firm, choosing for himself a narrow specialization - suffrage. In that chronological period, democratic procedures passed legislative registration. Participating in the electoral processes of different levels, Alexander gained real experience. In the election of the head of the Komi Republic in 2001, at the request of Sidyakin, the court canceled the registration of one of the main candidates.
A year later, Alexander was invited to the headquarters of the candidate for the post of governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The election ended successfully. The creativity and competence of the young lawyer was appreciated. He was invited to the office of the State Duma of the Russian Federation as an expert on electoral law. In 2006, Sidyakin defended his thesis on the topic "Denial of registration and deregistration of a candidate." The basis for the relevant conclusions and conclusions was the actual practice of a lawyer. After the defense, he initiated the publication of a collection of court decisions on a designated topic.
On the political field
Over the course of several years, Alexander Sidyakin moved towards the intended goal - to obtain the mandate of a State Duma deputy. The attempts that he made as a member of the Just Russia party were unsuccessful. In 2011, the famous lawyer moved to United Russia, and after the fall elections he became a full-fledged State Duma deputy. Sidyakin continued his activities in a new capacity within the framework of existing regulations. He is the initiator of many laws that have been approved by the lower house of the Russian parliament.
In the summer of 2012, Sidyakin joined the initiative group on the adoption of the Law on NGOs, which are foreign agents. As a result, the bill was approved and adopted. However, not all of the proposals of Alexander Gennadievich received the support of fellow legislators. The deputies did not dare to toughen the punishment for participating in unauthorized rallies. But the proposal to use transparent ballot boxes for voting was adopted unanimously. The deputy regularly traveled to the fixed region to meet with voters. In November 2018, Sidyakin joined the Administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan and resigned as deputy.
