Before career
Nikolay was born on March 6, 1980 in the small Kazakh city of Temirtau, whose population reaches nearly 200 thousand inhabitants. After a while, the Ivanov family moved to Russia, to the city in the north of the country - to Noyabrsk. There Nikolai spends his youth.
Moving to Noyabrsk is not the only moving family of the future actor. When Kolya was 10 years old, the family moved with him to the Penza region in a small village, where he led a rustic lifestyle - chopped wood, grazed cows and heated the stove.
When the USSR collapsed, the population of the village began to fall. Residents left their native village in search of work, but the Ivanovs remained. Agriculture saved them - they lived by growing food on the ground and by the meat of the animals they grazed.
After graduating from school, he went to the Nizhnelomovsk Pedagogical School, choosing a place to study near the village. And there was especially nobody to work here. Nikolai decided to become a primary music teacher.
During the training, Nikolai accidentally fell into the drama club, where he received an unforgettable experience and seriously thought about becoming an actor in the theater.
Actor's career
In 1996, the Maly Theater arrived in Penza. Theater Director Viktor Korshunov announced the recruitment of a new course. The future actor wanted to take part in it. It turned out well with him, Nikolai was able to get through the first two qualifiers, and went to the capital of Russia for the third.
But he passed him too and, according to the actor, he entered the Shchepkin Theater School not without "village" arrogance. Already in 2000, Ivanov graduated from college and was educated as an actor.
Filmography
After serving in the army after graduation, Ivanov returned to acting and starred in the film "Conditioned Reflex", where he received the main role. "101st kilometer" and "Red sky. Black snow" - the following paintings, in which he also participated. In 2001, starred in the popular series "Moscow Windows".
Times passed, skill grew, and in 2005 Nikolai received an award at the Vyborg Film Festival - the Best Debut Award and the Stalker Prize in Murmansk.
Now Nikolai continues to supplement his filmography with new paintings. In 2018, he starred in Unsolved Talent-3, as well as in Operation Moscow.
