Biography and filmography of Sergei Burunov
March 6, 1977 in an ordinary metropolitan family (father is an electrical engineer, and mother is a nurse) the future famous artist was born. At the time of his birth, his older brother Oleg was already growing up. Due to the proximity of the place of residence to the Domodedovo airport, the boy from his childhood dreamed of sky and airplanes. Even in high school, he was considered an amateur pilot in the flying club.
A year after graduating from high school, Sergei enters the Kachinsky Military Aviation School in Volgograd, from which he was expelled due to low academic performance at the end of his second year. This twist of fate was due to the fact that Burunov devoted all his free time not to professional studies, namely to performances in KVN. And then there was a return to Moscow in 1997 and an unsuccessful attempt to enter the theater university, a year of study at the circus school, a second unsuccessful attempt to enter the Shchukin Theater School on a common basis and the transition to a paid department at the expense of financial assistance from parents.
In 2002, Burunov graduated from “Pike” and, due to the lack of vacancies for him in the capital’s theaters, got a job on a radio station. After some time, with the help of Alexander Shirvindt, who appreciated Sergei's parody talent, he got a job at the Satire Theater. Here for four years he went on stage in productions: "Schweik", "Too Married Taxi Driver" and others.
In 2007, Sergey Burunov received the highest marks from theater-goers for participating in the staging of the play “The Blue Locksmith” at Theater.doc and successfully passed the casting for the title project “Big Difference”. Since that time, he has become truly famous, having received universal recognition as a master of the parody genre. Today, he already has hundreds of parodies behind him, which eloquently speaks of his creative fecundity.
He made his debut in the movie Burunov in 2002 from the filming of the series "Code of Honor." To date, the filmography of the artist is filled with more than forty film works in various films and series. The most successful and best-received critics and viewers today include the following projects with his participation: Echelon (2005), Ostrov (2006), Pursuit of the Angel (2006), Galina (2008), " Gleams "(2009), " Without the right to make a mistake "(2010), " A Short Course in a Happy Life "(2011), " What Still Men Talk About "(2011), " Kitchen "(2012), " Non-format "(2014), “I am looking for a woman with a child” (2014), “Friday” (2016), “Policeman from Rublevka” (2016), “Policeman from Rublevka to Beskudnikovo” (2017).
