Biography
Yashchenko Zoya Nikolaevna was born in 1972 on the last day of February, the 29th. She is Ukrainian by nationality, originally from Poltava. Zoe began to write poetry at a school desk, at the same time, "on the streets", along with her comrades, learned to play the guitar.
After graduating from school, Zoya worked in the regional newspaper for about three years, then moved to Moscow. In Moscow, an ambitious girl entered the institute and studied with A. Evstigneev in the guitar class. The debut performance with songs of her own composition at Zoe was in the walls of the hostel of Moscow State University. Even then, students, they are listeners, prophesied to the girl that she would certainly become famous.
Career
In 1991, Zoya Yashchenko together with guitarist Oleg Zalivako formed the White Guard band. At first it was not even a group, but simply a duet of two musicians. Artists performed in subway crossings, wrote new songs.
The official date for the creation of the group is 1993. Then Yuri Soshin has already joined the group. In 1993, the trio recorded the first debut album, created which was almost at home. But, despite this, Zoe’s songs became hits. The singer's voice was bewitching, the lyrics were remembered and penetrated the hearts of the audience.
Later in the music of the "White Guard" appeared the sounds of a flute, which was played by Katya Orlova. The melody of this gentle instrument gave a certain mystery to the compositions of the group. Such a composition was formed at the beginning of the long creative career of the group in 1994.
Zoya and her musicians were regularly invited to perform in various recreation centers in Moscow, as well as in the Polytechnic Museum and the Central House of Artists. In addition, artists traveled the world, performed on the squares of different cities and countries and were inspired by the culture of other nations.
In 1996, after the team’s fascinating travels, two new collections were published dedicated to the memories of a vibrant and mysterious India. It was about her that Zoya wrote the most sensual verses filled with oriental flavor.
By 1997, the group had already recorded 5 discs, but between 1997 and 1999, relations between the members of the group became somewhat more complicated. Perhaps the reason for this was a personal conflict between Zoe and Oleg Zalivako, who at that time was her husband. And in 1999 the group finally split up.
Despite the difficult period, filled with difficulties due to divorce, Zoya Yashchenko will soon find a new member for the team, Dmitry Baulin, who not only fit perfectly into the group, but was also able to win the heart of the poetess. And together with Dmitry Zoya releases the next albums: “Pitersky” and “It's All You.”
The White Guard team comes back to life. Soon, three more talented men appeared in the new composition of the group: Artyom Rudenko, Konstantin Reutov and Pavel Erokhin. Fortunately, the change in composition did not affect the popularity of the songs of the Guard. Zoe’s poems and music have remained invariably mesmerizing.
In 2000, the White Guard group was first invited to an interview as part of the Anthropology program hosted by Dmitry Dibrov. More and more people learn about the team and the popularity of artists is growing. The White Guard begins touring by invitation from Europe.
Dmitry Baulin begins to independently produce the team in 2002, continuing to work with texts, music and video. When they learn about Dmitry as an arranger, he receives many offers for cooperation. And in 2002, Zoya delights fans with new albums with fresh compositions.
In 2005, one of the group’s songs won the competition and was played on the radio. Zoe's voice is becoming recognizable and in demand. Then there are albums: "Peter", "Doll in your pocket." The song "Peter" from the album of the same name is becoming very popular on "Radio 101".
In 2006, a documentary was released on the life of artists called "I Will Fly." In the film, musicians talk about their lives, about travels and performances in different parts of the world, about what is hidden behind the curtains and about the performances themselves. And also in the film all the ethers and interviews with the members of the group are collected.
In 2008, the White Guard released several video clips, gaining commercial success. The following year, the group delights the audience with new albums: “Key from the Ashes” and “Clockwork Cricket”. Total is the 14th album in the group's piggy bank. A few months later, Dmitry releases his own album called "One Step", it contains only songs written by Baulin.
And in 2010, the collection, which was the very first among the group, was completely rewritten already using professional equipment. The group "White Guard" still releases albums, performs on the stages of Moscow and other cities of Russia. Until 2018, five more albums were released.
