Irina Iosifovna Sobyanin - the former wife of Sergei Sobyanin, the current mayor of Moscow. Having been married for 28 years, in February 2014 the couple announced a divorce. Irina Iosifovna leads a fairly closed lifestyle, so there is very little information about her in the press.

Acquaintance in Kogalym
Despite the fact that officially the marriage between the spouses was dissolved, Irina, without exaggeration, can be called the main woman in the fate of Sergey. After all, it was she who gave Sobyanin two daughters: Olga and Anna. And in recent times, the former spouses have another significant reason for meetings and communication - the birth of the grandson of Sergei.
Irina Iosifovna was born in Tyumen on November 19, 1961, her maiden name is Rubinchik. She studied at high school number 8. According to the recollections of classmates, Irina was an excellent student, she was constantly set as an example to other children. A photograph of a girl hung on a board of honor. Like many children of those years, she participated in amateur art shows, the Timurov movement and the collection of waste paper.
After leaving school, Irina entered the university, and 5 years later she received a diploma in the specialty "civil engineer". By distribution, the girl left for Kogalym - a small town in the north of the Tyumen region. It was there that a fateful meeting took place with Sergei Sobyanin, who at that time had just begun to build his career. The lovers played a wedding on February 23, 1986, and in October of that year, a daughter, Olya, was born. Ironically, the Sobyanin’s marriage was dissolved on the eve of the next wedding anniversary - February 21, 2014.
First Lady of the Tyumen Territory
On duty, Sergei Sobyanin began working in Tyumen, and his family moved after him to this large Siberian city. On the official website of Sergey, the Tyumen stage of life is designated 1993-2005. For Irina Iosifovna, these years were marked not only by the rapid career rise of her husband, but also by the birth of her second daughter (Anya was born in June 1997).
A significant milestone in the family was 2001, when Sergey Sobyanin was elected head of the Tyumen region following the January 14 elections. At that time, the attention of many Siberians was riveted to Irina, because they were interested to know what their first lady was doing. In 2004-2005 Irina Iosifovna taught the art of collage and floristry in one of the children's creative centers. On the website of the weekly federal newspaper, you can find interviews of those years in which teachers from a music school warmly speak about the wife of the head and their eldest daughter, Olya. The girl worked hard on music, and her mother brought her to classes, not a nanny, as was customary in the families of high-ranking officials.
However, there were some scandals. At one time, information was actively discussed that during the years of her husband’s mayor, Irina was listed as the owner of the road construction company Aerodromdorstroy, which installed fabulously expensive marble borders in Tyumen. Say, it was not without reason that orders for the execution of these works went to her firm. In 2011, in an interview for the Izvestia newspaper, Sobyanin himself said that his wife works as a teacher in a kindergarten and has nothing to do with business.

Another reason for the slander was the topic related to the cousin of Irina Iosifovna Alexander Gavrin, who held the post of Minister of Fuel and Energy of Russia at that time. Allegedly, it was he who contributed to such a rapid career of Sergei Sobyanin. It is worth noting that all this information has remained at the level of rumors and speculation.
