Vladimir Zelensky is a popular Ukrainian comedian, member of KVN, actor, producer, and more recently, a director. He gained the greatest popularity in the CIS thanks to his role in the film "Love in the Big City".
Biography
Born January 25, 1978 in the small Ukrainian city of Krivoy Rog. Soon the family moved to Mongolia. The boy's father was a professor, and he and his family had to move abroad for official reasons. Volodya began his studies at a local school and went to first grade there. For all the time he was in a foreign country, he mastered the Mongolian language and even fluently spoke it. But after the family returned to their homeland and Zelensky went to the Ukrainian school, he quickly forgot the Mongolian language.
Vladimir was active in everything and visited all kinds of sports sections, and he really liked to perform in amateur performances. However, after school, he planned to become a military man and serve on the border, defending his homeland. Closer to the graduation classes, Volodya's preferences changed, and he wanted to become a diplomat.
The circumstances were such that I had to abandon childhood dreams and enter the Kiev Institute of Economics. At the university, the guy immediately showed his creative abilities and most of the time he devoted to amateur performances, rather than studying. Thanks to his talent, he began to engage in choreography with the KVN team Zaporozhye-Krivoy Rog-transit, and later he began to participate in the games of the Club of Fun and Inventive.
Career
Zelensky really liked the game, and in 1997 he founded his own team, which was called "95 quarter". After two successful years of performing on local stages, the team was invited to the main league of KVN. Participation in the major leagues and broadcasts on the first channel in Russia made the “95th quarter” truly popular, they started giving concerts and even touring the CIS countries.
After KVN, Vladimir Zelensky, retaining the concept of “95 Quarter”, moved to Ukrainian television, where he launched the eponymous humorous show. High ratings of the program added popularity to the comedian, and he began to be invited to various television projects. Since 2010, he became one of the judges of the popular Ukrainian program "Laugh the comedian."
The talented artist also has 18 roles in feature films. The most famous of them is the role of Igor in the film "Love in the Big City". In 2018, Zelensky made his debut as a director. He in a duet with David Dodson made the film "I, you, he, she."
