Family traditions
The successor to the famous fourth-generation circus dynasty, Edgard Walterovich Zapashny was born July 11, 1976. Parents at that time lived in Yalta. The child, along with his younger brother, grew up under the strict supervision of his parents. The head of the family had unquestioned authority. From young nails, the boy was introduced to family traditions. Edgard literally absorbed the circus atmosphere with his mother’s milk.
The specifics of the work of circus actors is that they have to lead a nomadic lifestyle. Having received secondary education, Edgard has replaced a dozen cities and schools. At the same time, he studied at "good" and "excellent." His favorite subject was mathematics. Zapashny even won several times at city and regional competitions. For the first time he entered the arena at the age of twelve. This happened in the capital of the Republic of Latvia, Riga.
Professional activity
In 1991, Edgard Zapashny graduated from high school. It was at this time that political and economic reforms began in the country. The state budget was empty overnight and there was no money to maintain circus animals. With great difficulty, Zapashny found an acceptable solution. One of the Chinese companies offered actors engagement on very attractive terms. The circus moved to the People's Republic of China for several years. At the same time, the training system and the schedule of performances remained almost unchanged.
Having returned to his native penates in 1996, the Zapashny circus again found itself in a quandary. In Russia, recklessly divided property and engaged in elections. The family wanted not only to survive, but also to develop their work in the arena. Edgard thought over the commercial component of the new program and tried to find a punchy producer. However, participants in the Russian show business are accustomed to big and easy money. The Zapashny brothers had to deal not only with the training of wild animals, but also form commercial projects.
