The future Russian writer was born in the Stavropol Territory on November 2, 1951. After graduating from high school, Yuri entered the Stavropol Medical Institute, where he received higher education and a specialty of urologist. Over time, the main hobby for Korchevsky became literary work. His favorite genre is alternative history, and his preferred historical period is the Middle Ages.
The author enthusiastically creates images of brave heroes with iron stamina, courage and a sense of responsibility for everything that happens around them. As Yuri Grigoryevich admits, he borrows the features of many of his characters from his friends.
