early years
Julia Sergeyevna was born on February 2, 1985. Her hometown is Slantsy (Leningrad Region). Mikhalchik graduated from music school. The girl really liked animals, her mother thought she would become a zoologist.
At the age of 10, Mikhalchik successfully performed at the Samantha festival, and she was taken to the Channel Five choir. Many times the team participated in various competitions. In 1999, Julia won the Voiced Voices festival, and then became a winner in many other competitions.
School Mikhalchik graduated with honors. She began her studies at the Humanities University, choosing the specialty PR. As a 1st year student, she hosted programs on the Youth Channel (TNT), collaborated with the Korone team (producer Sergey Kokai).
Creative activity negatively influenced academic performance at the university, Julia was expelled for omissions. Later, Mikhalchik again began to study in this specialty, enrolling in the Russian Humanities University.
Creative biography
In 2003, Mikhalchik successfully performed at the festival "Southern Nights", where she was noticed by Alexander Shulgin. He invited the girl to participate in the project "Star Factory - 3". Julia accepted his offer.
On the project, Julia took 3rd place and became known throughout the country. In that period, the song "Bird" appeared, which became the visiting card of the singer. In 2004, Mikhalchik began working with the production center of Victor Drobysh. Her composition "White Swan" became a hit.
The singer was invited to speak at a concert that took place in the Kremlin Palace. In the same period, Mikhalchik was awarded the Golden Gramophone. In 2006, her album “If Winter Comes” appeared, many compositions were written by Julia.
Later at the event "Five Stars" Mikhalchik became the winner. Then came the album "Scythe". The singer participated in the qualifying round of Eurovision 2008. The winner then was Bilan Dima.
Julia recorded 2 songs for the series "Annushka", played in the rock opera "Perfumer". In 2011, her album of retro songs appeared, and later she performed 10 songs of Tolkunova Valentina, sounding in a picture about the famous singer.
In 2015, Mikhalchik participated in the Tonight program, dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the Star Factory. She continues to appear at celebrations, concerts.
