Biography: early years
Yasmin Gauri (Yasmeen Ghauri) was born March 23, 1971 in Montreal. Her parents are of different nationalities: her father is Pakistani, and her mother is German. The mixing of blood gave Yasmin an exotic appearance, which subsequently brought her multi-million dollar contracts. That's only in childhood, she suffered because of the original appearance. Peers constantly rotted her and awarded offensive nicknames.
The marriage of the parents was short-lived. The family began to crack at the seams when Yasmin was barely five years old. Four years later, the parents separated. Yasmin was left with his father, who by that time had become an imam.
