Biography
Severia Janusauskaite was born on October 22, 1981 in the north of Lithuania in the city of Siauliai. The parents of the girl were not creative people. Severia’s father worked as a power engineer, mother as a teacher, older sister, having matured, chose the profession of a lawyer. As a child, Severia sang well and loved to draw, so her parents sent her to a music school and art studio. In addition, the girl had a writing talent, her parents hoped that their daughter would go to study at the Faculty of Philology.
After graduating from high school, the girl realized that she wanted to become an actress. In 2005, Severia was educated at the prestigious Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater.
Creation
A graduated young actress began to serve in the main part of the Youth Theater of Lithuania. In parallel, Severia played in productions of the Oscar Korshunovas Theater and other Lithuanian theaters.
The most significant theatrical roles of Severia Janusauskaite: Romy - in the production of “First a Woman”, directed by S. Uždavinis, A. Jankevičius (Arts Printing House Theater); Malgozhata - in the play “Iwona, Princess of Burgundy”, directed by Jonas Vaitkus (State Youth Theater of Lithuania); Beatrice Korshunovasa - directed by Ferryman, directed by Paul Eugen Budraitis (Oscaras Theater).
In addition to playing in performances, for the productions of the Lele Puppet Theater, Severia Janusauskaite wrote music and became a fashion designer and costume designer.
The film debut for Severia was the 2006 Lithuanian short film Out of Focus. In 2007, the actress played the role of a young gypsy in the mini-series War and Peace directed by Robert Dornhelm. The following significant works of the actress were: the detective melodrama "Anarchy in Zhirmunai", the French film "The Fall of the Wall", the Norwegian crime thriller "Honey Trap", the Swedish film "Royal Jewels" and the biographical film "Letters of Sofia".
Russian viewers first saw Severia Janusauskaite in the film "Star", directed by Anna Melikyan, in which the actress played the role of Margarita. An interesting fact is that before shooting the film, Severia did not speak Russian. To get this role, the artist learned the Russian language in three months. The partner of the actress in this film was the magnificent actor Evgeny Mironov.
