According to some skeptics, high poetry is not in demand today. After a while, it will generally turn into a fossil. Alexander Vulykh, who by his work proves the opposite, completely disagrees with such promises.
Son of an architect
Once a famous Soviet poet noted that being famous is ugly. After a long period of time, Alexander Efimovich Vulykh added - but it is pleasant and profitable. A famous poet and screenwriter has the right to engage in polemics with the classics. Often the author is pushed to this by current events. In this context, it should be noted that the target audience perceives him both as a parodist and as a songwriter. As Vulikh himself puts it - this is such a compote in one pan. A similar state did not develop overnight. There were reasons and motives for that.
The popular poet columnist was born on February 5, 1956 in an intelligent Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. My father was a famous architect by that time. Mother worked under his guidance. The child grew and developed in a creative setting. He studied well at Vulikh school. His favorite subjects were history and literature. Surrounding people, relatives and acquaintances, had no doubt that Sasha would follow in the footsteps of his famous father. However, it was this circumstance that began to bother him with age. The role of the "pale shadow of the ancestor" did not suit him at all.
Creative activity
After school, Vulykh flatly refused to receive an architect's education and entered the journalism department of Moscow State University. As a student, Alexander wrote poems and notes for various print media. He watched with his own eyes how correspondents and TV hosts live. The young and talented author was accepted into the editorial office of the newspaper “Night Rendezvous” by the editor of the letters department. In this position, he led his editorial column in verse. In his opinion, it was not poetry yet, but no longer journalism. Seriously engaged in writing tests for songs Vulykh began in the early 90's.
Poetic creativity was noticed, appreciated and invited the author to lead the column "Verse of the Day by Alexander Vulykh" on "Russian Radio". Every day, at exactly 11 o'clock on the air poetic lines sounded on an urgent topic. At the same time, Alexander managed to organize his own solo performances. In tandem with composer Vadim Stepantsov, they regularly performed in the evenings at the Mayakovsky Museum.
