Bobrov was included in the Moscow Dynamo team, which traveled to the UK for games. He managed to score 6 goals out of 19 against the hosts. In his native land Vsevolod Mikhailovich successfully combined the game of football and Russian hockey. In 1953, he finally transferred to the national team of ice hockey. The following season, the Soviet team won first place at the World Cup. And in 1956 he won gold at the Olympic Games. In Olympic games, Bobrov acted as a playing coach.
