Vladimir Lyovkin is a former soloist of the Na-Na group, which became mega-popular in the nineties. He was a leading TV show, director, producer. The singer also leads social activities.
Vladimir Levkin in childhood, youth
Vladimir was born on June 6, 1967. Later, the family moved from Moscow to Potsdam (Germany), where Volodya's father began to serve. At age 6, the boy went to muses. school, mastered the button accordion. Then the Levkins returned to the Union. At school, Levkin studied well, mastered the guitar. As a teenager, he became interested in rock, organized the group "Mercury Lake".
After school, Levkin went to study at the institute, but did not finish his studies: the young man was drafted into the army. The service was near Murmansk, at that time Levkin performed in the ensemble "Horizon". Returning home, Vladimir decided to enter Gnesinka.
Creative career
While studying in Gnesinka, Levkin attended castings, passed a competition in the Na-Na group. This happened in 1989. It was not easy for Vladimir to play pop music; he loved rock. In 1990, Vladimir Politov appeared in the group, the duo quickly became famous. In 1991, Vyacheslav Zherebkin and Vladimir Asimov were taken into the group. The schedule was busy, rehearsals and tours took a lot of time.
In 1996, Levkin began his studies at GITIS as a director, after 2 years he left Na-Na. In 1997, the musician participated in the filming of the Aspen video. In 1998, Levkin became the editor of the newspaper Detective Club, and later received the position of presenter at TV Center. In 1999, Vladimir released a solo album, Steps to Myself. Lyovkin founded the punk band "Kedbl", the team released 2 albums "Zapanki", "Flomaster".
In 2003, Vladimir left the scene because of a deadly disease - cancer of the lymphatic system. He underwent a serious operation, a year and a half was under the droppers. Levkin managed to defeat the disease, and he resumed creative activity. In 2009, the musician recorded a new collection.
Vladimir conducts social activities, provides financial assistance to orphanages, shelters, hospitals. Previously, he became the organizer of a charity concert. In 2014, the musician was offered the position of director of the Open Sea festival. In 2015, he recorded a new collection, Life in 3D. In the same period, Levkin participated in the show "Just the same."
