Valentina Gartsueva combines work on the stage of a theater in Minsk with the filming process in her creative career (as a rule, these are film works in Russian-Belarusian projects). Her high demand is evidenced by the fact that in 2017 her filmography was replenished with twenty characters. Today, a young woman dreams of organizing her family theater in honor of the acting dynasty of the Gartsuyevs, well-known in Belarus.
A native of Minsk and a native of the famous Belarusian dynasty of actors - Valentin Gartsuev - today is at the peak of his creative career. Behind her already there are many theatrical projects and dozens of film works.
Biography and creative career of Valentina Gartsueva
April 8, 1986 in the capital of Belarus, the future actress was born. Since there are many honored artists in the family tree of Valentina’s family (mother Zoya Belokhvostik is a famous Belarusian actress, father is an artistic director of the Belarusian Drama Theater, grandfather Valentin Belokhvostik is a People’s Artist of Belarus, great-grandfather Gleb Glebov is People’s Artist of the USSR), and she grew up as an only child, then the choice of a profession never stood before her.
In childhood and youth, Valentina, in addition to general education, also attended a music school. However, she spent more time behind the scenes of the theater where her mother worked. By the way, she was not at all an obedient and disciplined child. As a teenager, she, like many of her peers, wanted to make bold tattoos and dye her hair with unexpected color, but settled down in time.
After receiving a certificate of secondary education, Valentina Gartsueva entered the Belarusian State Academy of Arts (theater department). And after graduating from high school, she became part of the troupe of the National Academic Theater. Y. Kupala, where her mother performs. She is well-known to theaters for her role as Barbara in the production of The Black Pannah of Nesvizh, the main character in Pavlinka, Clarice in The Servant of Two Masters, and other theatrical works.
Gartsuyeva’s cinematic debut took place in 2005 with a cameo appearance in Sergei Bobrov’s TV series “Men Don't Cry-2”. And then there were three years, when the actress appeared only on the stage. But since 2008, her filmography has regularly been replenished with film projects, among which I especially want to highlight the following: “Papa’s beloved daughter” (2008), “Zhurov-2” (2010), “Narcomovsky convoy” (2011), “Heart is not a stone” (2012), "The Power of Love" (2013), "Cold Dish" (2013), "You Will Have a Baby" (2014), "Adoration" (2014), "Black Web" (2015), "Tears on the Pillow "(2016), Black Blood (2017).
