Family, early years
Valentin Georgievich was born on June 10, 1941. His hometown is Moscow. Valentin's father was involved in creating scripts for documentaries, his mother was an employee of film distribution. The Smirnites lived in a communal apartment, the boy was taken care of by his grandfather and grandmother.
Valentine walked a lot of time on the street, he was expelled from school for fights. He had to study in evening school. Smirnitsky decided to become an actor by participating in one of the school performances. In 1965 he graduated from the school of Schukin. In that period, his father fell seriously ill, because of this, Valentine could not be at home.
Creative career
On the 4th year, Valentin starred in the movie "Two" along with Fedorova Victoria. The picture won a prize at a film festival in the capital. After college, Valentine received invitations from 4 theaters. He accepted the offer from Lenkom, soon becoming in demand.
Smirnitsky was involved in the plays Three Sisters, The Seagull, Othello, and many others. In 1967, the actor was invited to the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, where he worked until 1999. Then Smirnitsky moved to the Theater of the Moon.
Valentine was recognized on the streets even before the screens of the "musketeers". On his account were roles in the productions of Nameless Star, Tender Night, The Journey of Amateurs, Don Giovanni and others. Smyrintsky was often invited to shoot, more than 100 paintings were included in his filmography. He was also involved in dubbing cartoons, foreign films.
Nevertheless, the actor became popular in the country, thanks to the film "D'Artagnan and 3 Musketeers." Valentine was thin, so for the filming he was made up using overlays. For the sake of this film, the actor refused the offer to star abroad, but he did not regret the choice. On the set, the “musketeers” became friends and continued to maintain friendly relations, having finished acting.
