Vadim Kolganov is a popular actor with the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation. He starred in the TV series Tatyana’s Day, Comrade Stalin, Delta and other famous television projects.
Biography
Vadim Kolganov was born in the village of Baranovka (Ulyanovsk Region) in 1971. Parents tried to comprehensively raise the child, so he was engaged not only in sports, but also attended the children's theater studio. At school, Vadim also did not miss a single production, and some even directed himself. It is not surprising that he easily entered the Orenburg School of Culture in the directing department.
After graduating from a special education and having served in the army, Kolganov got a job as an art director in the local Palace of Pioneers. He also continued his studies at the music school and once decided to go to Moscow to try to enter VGIK. Vadim successfully completed the test and was enrolled in the workshop of Marlena Khutsiev. Kolganov combined his student years with work at the School of Modern Play, and after receiving his diploma he got a job at the Theater named after Stanislavsky.
In 2001, Vadim Kolganov made his debut on television in the series "Truckers". Following he starred in the film "Bastards" and the series "Tatyana's Day", which was released in 2007. The role of rowdy Viktor Rybkin was glorified by the actor, and he was so carried away by the project that he even recorded a soundtrack to it. Two years later, Kolganov starred in another famous TV series, Desantura, and then in the drama Comrade Stalin about the life of the great Soviet leader.
In 2013, the actor starred in the movie "Delta", where he played the role of a former servant of the law working in the fishery. Vadim Kolganov often gets the role of police or military. He is also remembered for such projects as “Save or Destroy”, “Keys” and “Shuttles”. Thanks to his athletic physique, the actor often became a member of active television shows, including Ice Age, King of the Ring, and Big Races.
