When Tony was 22 years old, he was invited to the shooting of his painting by the famous Oliver Stone. Todd received the main role in the film "Candyman" in 1991, and a year later the picture started at the box office and became one of the most popular in the horror genre. The sad story of the son of a slave who fell in love with the daughter of his master and who lost his life because of this. They cut off his hand and, smeared with honey, set bees on him. Before his death, he vows to take revenge on his offenders and all who stand in his way, turning into a ghostly monster. One had only to say his name in the mirror three times, and Candyman appeared in reality, starting to kill. The film was a great success with the audience, and a few years later Todd starred in the second and third parts.
Most of the actor's next roles were also associated with the genre of mysticism, horror and science fiction. He plays small but memorable roles in the films: "Raven", "Wishmaster", "Architect of Shadows", "X-Files", "Destination" (1, 2, 3 and 5 parts), "Ax" and many others.
In 2010, Todd became a party and special guest to the Weekend of Horror convention, held for fans of the horror genre, as well as the Screamfest horror festival.
In addition to filming a movie, Tony devotes a lot of time to voicing replicas of video game characters, among which the most famous are: Dota 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
Personal life
Little is known about the actor’s personal life, he tries not to advertise it and not to give interviews concerning his family. It is only known that Todd has two children, thanks to whom he agreed to participate in the filming of the popular series "The Amazing Wanderings of Hercules."
