Biography
The future footballer was born in July 1989 on the twenty-fourth. As a child, he loved to play sports and especially loved to play football. But the family did not have the opportunity to record a promising youth in the football section, and he just chased the ball in the yard with the neighboring boys.
At the age of seventeen, Tom Ashley got the opportunity to prove himself on a semi-professional level at the Whitefield Football Club. The guy was able to impress the club management and was accepted into the team. At this level, Denton played two years before being spotted in a professional setting.
Career
In 2008, the club from the second division of the country, “Huddersfield Town” in a pretty tight competition gained up and got the opportunity to sign the promising Tom Denton. The transaction amount was not officially announced and the likely range is indicated from 60 thousand pounds to 100.
After moving to Huddersfield, Denton immediately went on loan. In November, he joined the Woking football club, which played in the national league. In December of the same year, a debut for a new team took place. Denton entered the field in a match against Salisbury City as part of a national trophy. The newcomer was marked with a double in a crushing victory with a score of 3-0. This is the only result that Tom wrote on his account as part of this team. In January 2009, he returned to the main club.
In March, he again went on lease. This time at Wakefield FC, the arrangement was calculated before the end of the season. During this time, Denton entered the field thirteen times and scored twelve goals, four of them in a crushing victory over the “Salford City” with a score of 8-1.
In the summer of 2009, the leadership of Huddersfield again decided to send the young player on loan. Denton was about to move to Cheltenham Town. On November 10 of that year, he returned to Huddersfield without goals. In the winter of 2010, he was rented for a month by the Wakefield Football Club, for which he had previously played. In the summer, “Huddersfield” terminated the contract with the player and he, as a free agent, entered into a new agreement with “Wakefield”. Not very convincing speeches led to the fact that the club refused to renew the contract, and Denton again lost his job. For eight years, he replaced seven clubs from the lower divisions.
In 2018, he signed a contract with Chesterfield Football Club, an agreement for 18 months. Denton today continues to play for this club.
