American actor, comedian, producer and screenwriter Tom Dwayne Arnold gained fame after starring in the 1994 Hollywood movie True Truth. For playing the role of Arnold Gibson, the actor was nominated for the MTV Movie Award. After this success, Tom was invited to appear in many films of Hollywood and other independent companies.

The early years of the actor
Tom was born on March 6, 1959 in the town of Ottumwa, Iowa. His parents (Jack Arnold and Linda Kay) were partisans of the Methodist Church. The family was large, but fragile. Mother left Jack with 7 children when Tom was still a child. All the children were raised by their father, hiring a nanny to help them.
Tom began his career at a meat processing plant, received his secondary education in his hometown, and then studied at Indian Hills College and the University of Iowa, where he received his specialty as a business administrator. From 2001 to 2005 Tom - the host of the popular sports show Best Damn Sports Show Period, is actively working on the radio, and also takes part in television advertisements for a chain of fast food restaurants. From 2005 to 2011 the actor starred in a number of films. In the film "Night Gardens" he plays a pedophile and a child molester. Later, Tom explained that he agreed to this role, since in childhood he was a victim of sexual violence by his nanny. Therefore, he thereby decided to shed light on one of the problems of modern society.
