The beginning of a sports career
The biography of the future champion began in1954. She was born on June 16 in Leningrad. In early childhood, parents gave the girl to practice in the figure skating section. From the beginning of classes, the child was very disciplined, purposeful. Tanya was never afraid of the obligation to come to the rink in the early morning, to abandon childhood weaknesses for the sake of sportsmanship.
After exhausting workouts, the girl hardly got home late in the evening. I had to do it on an open rink, so we used any opportunities for training, regardless of distance. When the skating rink opened in the park, all free time passed on it. Classes continued until school.
The first grader had to combine sport and study. It was very difficult, but the teachers understood the girl and went to meet her. They asked in all severity, but retake was allowed. By that time, figure skating had captured Tatyana so much that she did not have the required training.
After school, she came home, had a quick lunch and went for a run. I had to maintain the right weight, follow a diet.
Road to success
Training began daily from eight in the morning. There were no other options. There was no time for communication with classmates, but the girl already understood that she needed to strive forward.
She developed her own circle of friends, the situation. The athlete did not feel any infringement. The school also understood that her life was on the rink. The girl spoke first at the DSO "Petrel", and then for the DSO "Spartak".
Oleneva was engaged at different times with Tatyana Ivanovna Loveyko, Viktor Nikolayevich Kudryavtsev. Finally, her mentor was Alexei Nikolaevich Mishin. The sixth place at the championship of the USSR, the young athlete took in 1969.
In 1970 there was a new victory: Tatyana became the champion of the country among juniors. In 1971 she stopped at the 4th stage, and a year later she conquered the second.
The most successful was 1973. Oleneva became the champion of the USSR, made her debut at the European championship in Cologne. She showed the result 14-1, but she took bronze at the international tournament for the prize of the newspaper "Moscow News". In 1974, the young athlete won two silver medals at the winter sports contest of the peoples of the USSR and the national championship.
Coaching
After success, Tatyana decided to end her sports career. She decided to start coaching. In 1976, her mentor, Alexei Mishin, became her husband. He could not resist the charm of a student who became a champion.
Tatyana Nikolaevna received her education at the Lesgaft Institute of Physical Education. Then work began. Misha turned out to be her real fan. At first, the husband and wife had different students. There was a kind of competition, but both shared their experience and accomplishments, achieving a higher level of perception.
In anticipation of the first-born, in 1977 Tatyana Nikolaevna trained the young athletes until the very last days. She was delivered to the hospital directly from the ice rink. The eldest child was the son Andrei. In 1983, a second son appeared, named Nicholas.
Both subsequently chose for themselves also a sports career. However, they did not become skaters, but tennis players. Tatyana Nikolaevna has brought up many talented students over the years of work. Among them are the first world champion among juniors Tatyana Andreeva, as well as Tatyana Basova, Katarina Gerbolt, Andrey Gryazev, Ksenia Doronina.
Spouses Misha work together, helping each other in everything. Competition developed within the family: the athletes of both competed. Such an atmosphere provided a forward movement.
The finest hour was classes with Mishina Oleg Tataurov, and her husband Alexei Urmanov. Both skaters became winners, which acted as an incentive to move up. Such rivalry did not turn into destructive for the family. However, the couple decided to stop competition and begin work in tandem.
