Children continue the work of their parents, not only in art or science, but also in the political field. In the current chronological period, similar phenomena are observed in Ukraine. The famous politician Taras Chernovol continues the work of his father.
Starting conditions
The formation and strengthening of statehood is a long and multifaceted process. All affairs and procedures take many decades. Taras Vyacheslavovich Chernovol was born on June 1, 1964 in the family of an active fighter for the independence of Ukraine. Parents at that time lived in Lviv. My father was engaged in journalism, promoted democratic principles to the masses and tried to form anti-Russian sentiments in society. Mother worked as a therapist in a city clinic and regularly attended church.
Taras was brought up in the mainstream of folk traditions. He was taught to respect the elders and pay attention to their teachings. From a young age, he absorbed his father’s maxims about freedom and independence. The boy learned to read early. He studied well at school, but there weren’t enough stars from the sky. Chornovil's favorite subjects were history and literature. In high school, he wrote notes in one of the local newspapers. His comrades and teachers noted his ability to intelligently express thoughts on paper.
Political activity
After school, Chernovol entered the biological faculty of a local university. But after the first semester I realized that this was not his path. Having not completed his education, he dropped out of school and worked as a laboratory assistant before being drafted into the army — washing test tubes and flasks. In 1984, having returned from service, he got a job as a nurse in the operating department of the Lviv Regional Hospital, where he worked for five years. When "perestroika" unfolded on the territory of the USSR, Taras became one of the founders of the Union of Independent Ukrainian Youth.
Perestroika processes gained momentum. Chernovol’s energy and creativity was appreciated, and invited to the newspaper Young Ukraine as editor-in-chief. In the biography of the now famous politician, it is noted that his career began from that moment. In the 1990 elections, Taras Vyacheslavovich was elected deputy of the Lviv Regional Council. In 1995, he was accepted as political referent by his father, Vyacheslav Maksimovich Chernovol, who led the People’s Movement of Ukraine party.
