Tanit Phoenix is a South African model, actress, dancer, stylist and makeup artist. She began a modeling career at the age of 14. Repeatedly appeared on the covers of the famous magazines Maxim, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Shape, and also often starred for Sports Illustrated swimsuit. In 2005, she first appeared on the screen in the film "Charlie Jade."

Tanit was born in South Africa in the fall of 1980. Her ancestors were from Ireland and Holland. In 1822, her great-grandfather George Phoenix served in the Navy as a mechanic. Together with his uncle, he left Ireland and went to South Africa. There he found a job, got married and never returned home.
Phoenix spent his childhood in a suburb of Durban in the town of Westville. When the girl was 5 years old, her parents gave her to a ballet studio. She became a professional dancer and devoted 15 years to choreography.
At one of the performances, the girl was noticed by representatives of an advertising agency and was invited to a casting. Tanit successfully passed the selection. And at age 14, she first appeared in Adidas television commercials. Then she appeared in advertisements of famous brands: Coca-Cola, Volvic water, Aqua-mineral, Visine, Schweppes.
Phoenix also collaborated with firms: Citroen C3, Nivea, Alberto VO5, Aria, Transition Lenses, Fa, Volvic.
In the early 2000s, Tanit repeatedly appeared on the covers of fashion magazines in South Africa, Germany, America and England. The debut in the cinema took place at Tanit in 2005. She played in one of the episodes of the science fiction series Charlie Jay.
In the same year, the actress starred in the crime drama "Armory Baron". She was lucky to work on the set with famous Hollywood stars: Nicholas Cage, Jared Leto, Bridget Moynanen, Ethan Hawke, Ian Holm.
