Biography
Vladimir Dmitrievich was born in the Volyn region of Ukraine in 1946. Five years later, parents moved to Donbass to restore the mines destroyed by fascist bombing. And then they stayed there to work. Over time, Vladimir's elder brother joined them, and he himself, apparently, was waiting for the same fate.
However, the future actor from early childhood was interested in all kinds of creativity: he drew well, sculpted from plasticine, and was also one of the activists of the amateur theater.
However, tradition is tradition, and now Volodya is sitting at his desk at the Rutchenkovsky mining college, studying the development of coal deposits. The college also had amateur performances, and Talashko in it was one of the start-ups. Once at a competition of readers, he was noticed by the director of the Donetsk Theater, and invited him to his troupe. So Vladimir suddenly became an actor in the theater.
After working in the theater for two years, Talashko went to serve in military service. He had time to think about his future profession, about life in general, and after the army he decided to enter the Kiev Theater Institute. But instead of the theater faculty he got to the cinema faculty - he was persuaded by the teacher who was gaining this course. He probably liked the bright texture of the young man: tall, blond hair, well-defined cheekbones and piercing eyes.
The next stage of his career is work at the Dovzhenko film studio since 1972, although already in 1969 he starred in the film "Commissars".
Talashko became famous after the release of the legendary picture "Some" old people "go into battle" (1973). His hero - Lieutenant Sergey Skvortsov - turned out to be very lively and real. Not some kind of screen hero, but a man with his weaknesses and shortcomings, which he defeats with the help of his comrades.
After this picture, there were other roles, also very significant and loved by the audience. These are the films "The Old Fortress", "Conscience", "Captain Nemo" and others. Its heroes are military, police, sailors and workers. As a rule, these are heroic personalities and fighters for justice.
In addition to working in the cinema, he conducted several programs on Ukrainian television, was the organizer of the festival "Old Films about the Main", the organizer of the Leonid Bykov Foundation.
He also teaches at the university where he once studied at the cinema faculty. It teaches students not to chase fleeting glory, but to work at full strength - as he himself taught.
