The life of Svetlana Kopylova resembles an attraction called a roller coaster. She is constantly trying something new, looking for new ways to express herself. From the outside it may seem that everything is given to her without difficulty, but this is far from the case. Any step of it is either a meaningful, balanced decision, or a rush of the soul. When she followed reason, and when feelings, now Svetlana herself cannot answer.
Biography of Svetlana Kopylova
The future actress and bard in the style of "parable" was born in Irkutsk, February 22, 1964. Mother of little Sveta was a simple draftswoman. The girl did not know her father at all. He was replaced by her stepfather, Sergei, at the age of 5. The man gave the baby everything that his father had to give - love, support, education. Svetlana and now recalls him with great gratitude.
The girl was artistic from early childhood. She loved to perform Vysotsky’s songs for her family members - mom, dad, grandmother and aunt - and she did it so artistically, from the heart, as if she understood the whole essence of the works.
But after graduating from incomplete secondary school, Svetlana entered to study at the aviation technical school. She received advice on choosing a professional path from relatives, their opinion was very important for her. She honestly mastered the subjects of her course, but did not receive satisfaction from new knowledge. Only in the third year did she “find herself” when she met her first lover, who was the leading actor of the Irkutsk Youth Theater. The theater devoured her, occupied all thoughts. But they did not accept her to a specialized educational school in her native city, considering it not talented enough.
Career of Svetlana Kopylova
In Moscow, they were more supportive of Svetlana Kopylova - after the first audition, she became a student of the Shchukin school. Success inspired the girl, she became significant not only for herself, but also in the eyes of her lover, which was very important for the girl in love.
Her acting talent was undeniable. Proof of this - invitations to act in films that literally fell on the charismatic student "Pike". As a first-year student, she starred in a film directed by Rybarev called "Witness." The first picture was followed by others, but a real breakthrough in the cinema for her happened in 1988, after the role of Lena in the film "My Name is Harlequin".
Together with Svetlana, the actor Oleg Fomin, a beginner at that time, was shot in the film. To play in such a difficult drama would not be easy even for experienced actors, but the young people did an excellent job of their task. This work became for them both a high point.
Until 2007, Svetlana Kopylova quite actively acted in films. Critics praised her work in the films "Bullshit", "Midnight Blues", "Witness" and others. But Svetlana was more and more fascinated by the song. As a result, she decided to finally connect her life only with pop music.
Music and songs of Svetlana Kopylova
Music has always been a part of Svetlana’s life. Even in childhood, under the influence of songs by Vysotsky and other bards, she began to create her own compositions, to her own poems. The first professional opinion of her work was expressed by the famous composer and poet Valery Zuykov. He helped the girl rebuild her works under the stage, turn them from compositions for a close circle into compositions for a wide audience of viewers.
In 2006, Kopylova released her first studio album of parable songs entitled “Gift to God” and gave her first concert, “A Meeting with Svetlana Kopylova at the Slavic Center”. And this was only the beginning of the long and successful path that critics prophesied to her. Soon, such performers and composers as Malezhik, Sarukhanov, Valentina Tolkunova already collaborated with Kopylova. Since the last Svetlana even held several joint concerts. After the death of Tolkunova, it was Kopylova who initiated the creation of a film about her and shot it together with a group of like-minded people. The painting was called "Love conquers death." So Svetlana Kopylova also became a film director.
