The amazing voice of Sevara Nazarhan, penetrating the heart and touching the innermost strings of the soul there, is very rare. With her performance, she brings the viewer beauty and love. This is not surprising, because her name translates as "giving love."
Musical roots
Born on December 23, 1986 in a deeply musical family, a girl from an early age literally raved about music, she wanted to become a star without fail. She was the third child in the family: there is a brother and sister older than her, and a younger brother. But indestructible persistence in childhood was the only one that differed. Dad instilled in the girl a love of folk music with his play on the dutar, introduced him to the instrument, while her mother, a vocal teacher, gave the first lessons in performing skills.
Although Sevara herself says that there was a period at an early age when she wanted to become a dentist. And he immediately admits that it’s difficult to be a doctor, but it’s easy to write songs - "you dive into the music and create your own style."
She studied in an ordinary Russian-language school, she was diligent, the student considers both languages Russian and Uzbek as her native ones.
In the late 90s, the girl leaves her native Andijan and goes to Tashkent to submit documents to the conservatory. From this moment on, her path is defined - only music.
Creative activity
Sevara’s singing career begins with the Sideris girl quartet, the founder and producer of which is Mansur Tashmatov, widely known in Uzbekistan. The young singer did not receive much satisfaction from working in it, and he broke up quickly.
For some time, the girl sang jazz, performed modern folk songs on dutar. Her fame is starting to grow. But they really started talking about her after the performance of one of the main parts of the musical Mysara - Superstar.
And here the rising star commits an unbelievable act, according to her, - for the last money flies to London and participates in an ethnic festival. But this act brought her a meeting with a significant person.
During the performance, a man takes everything on camera. It turned out to be the famous musician Peter Gabriel, who turned Sevara's whole life and pushed her to fame.
Peter helps the original singer to record a solo album and arranges a world tour, which includes the countries of Western Europe, the USA and Canada, and subsequently Russia and China.
Sevara becomes super popular in his homeland, performs a lot, writes music, releases albums. One of the few Uzbek artists who managed to achieve such recognition. In 2002, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Boris Grebenshchikov and Vyacheslav Butusov considered it an honor to sing with her.
She lives and breathes music, creates only by inner command, even if not always understood. He sings about beauty, about love, that holds us all on this earth. The composer's music is an incredible synthesis of ethnicity and modernity.
But, unfortunately, Sevara is popular only at home and abroad, and for the Russian audience her work, for the most part, is unknown. She decides to participate in the show "Voice". The project did not obey her, but brought her to the crest of popularity, the singer won in huge audience love. Igor Nikolaev’s romance “There is no me”, masterfully performed in the second round, instantly took off to the top of the charts.
